Dental Emergencies

A toothache can be caused by: tooth decay, abscessed tooth, tooth fracture, damaged or broken filling.

Contact us as soon as possible if you experience any of the following symptoms:

Take over the counter pain medication that you have taken before and that you know works for you. Apply and hold an ice pack against your face for 20 minutes on and off.

It is usually not advisable to apply heat to the site as it may make things worse.

If there is a lot of bleeding or you have large swelling and experience difficulty breathing or swallowing, go to Emergency at a hospital right away.
